PMPTSP Continues to Increase Ease of Doing Business in Jakarta

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Department continues to give more convenience in doing business in Jakarta, especially that relates with licensing and non-licensing service. 

I hope this policy can make business licensing procedure to be more simple and improve ease of doing business index in Indonesia

Recently, Jakarta PMPTSP Department closes service for Company Domicile Certificate (SKDP) and Business Domicile Certificate (SKDU) based on Jakarta PMPTSP Department Decree No. 25/2019 regarding Closure of Non-Licensing Services for Company Domicile Certificate and Certificate of Business Domicile.

PMPTSP Optimizes Its Performance in Processing Permissions

Thus when other institutions or agencies asked businessmen to attach domicile certificates for administrative purposes, they can just show the other documents such as Business License (SIUP), Construction Services Business License (IUJK), and Tourism Business Registration Certificate (TDUP). Because those documents have information about business owner's name and address.

"Requests related to SKDP and SKDU are considered no longer needed by businessmen because other documents have the same information," mentioned Jakarta PMPTSP Department Head, Benni Aguscandra, Friday (5/10).

According to him, his side has gone through various considerations and studies to make things easier for citizens in taking care business licenses in Jakarta.

"I hope this policy can make business licensing procedure to be more simple and improve ease of doing business index in Indonesia," he said.

Currently, Jakarta PMPTSP Department has 316 service points from urban villages, sub-districts, regencies, and city regions in Jakarta. It also opens integrated services for licensing and non-licensing documents in Public Service Mall.
